Pipe Bending

For steel and non-ferrous pipes, piping bending shall be carried out by the cold bending machine having radius of 2-3 times of the outside diameter of pipe to a maximum practicable extent.

If the cold bending is not applicable or small radius bending is necessary to facilitate the piping arrangement, the commercial bend pieces (elbow, miter bends) shall be used.

Hot bending may be applied in special case, such as adjustment of pipe alignment, etc.
