RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the TT China Office, and the overall guidance and supervision of the IREDI process, the incumbent is responsible for the following duties:
The incumbent, under the guidance of the IREDI, will assist in the development and implementation of work plans of NCIC. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Chinese dealer and NCIC by providing technical and management support to the project.
The incumbent will assist in monitoring the progress of the project, liaise with grantees to fulfill the reporting requirements for the project, coordinate technical assistance for activities, and assist in keeping the progress of the project in line with agreed timelines and outputs in the workplan of the project.
The incumbent should assist in ensuring the implementation of IREDI process focusing on achievement of:
· Coordinating all technical inputs towards achievement of project results, monitoring and evaluating progress towards results, and support coordination of various partners involved;
· Contribute to effective management of NCIC implementation
· Monitoring and evaluation of Project and reports related to the project;
· Drafting project progress reports inclusive of Monthly Report, Weekly Report, Daily Report at different life cycle of project and ensuring timely submission of technical and risk/value engineering reports;
· Providing technical assistance RPM
· Performing other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM STANDARDS:
EDUCATION:
· Related fields.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum 5 years work experience in project management related areas.
KNOWLEDGE
· Knowledge of Design and Fit out programme, design review and raise comment as per defined IREDI specification and standard
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
· Must speak Mandarin Chinese fluently, and read/write grammatically correct as a native speaker. Must speak and understand spoken English fluently (Level 4 above), including the ability to read and understand technical documents. Able to write English letters, administrative/technical reports. Must be able to perform oral and written translation from Chinese to English and vice versa.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Demonstrated grasp of skills and methods for program management, monitoring and evaluation of activities of similar scope and complexity.
· Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with Dealer’s team including Designer, GC and subcontractors of MEP, FGW, Municipal and Interior fitout.
· Excellent inter-personal skills and function well as part of a team.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Computer literate with fluency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs.
· Ability to travel at short notice and site project stay during interior fitout stage.
