I think I need to further add that
1. "subject offer"
What are the "subject" then?
Normally, there are two subjects, the inspection the ship and the inspection of the class record.
The buyer has right to reject the ship if he is not satisfactory with either the ship or the class record he inspected.
If the buyer is satisfactory with both of the ship and the class record he inspected,he should lift the subjects and the offer he made earlier becomes "outright" and thus a firm one.
2. "Outright offer"
Before making offering, if the buyer has already inspected both the ship and the class record, then the offer which the buyer made is "outright" and thus is a firm one. |
