sheer strake 中文正式翻譯為 “舷側頂列板”，莫因英文有個 "sheer" 字而翻譯成 “舷弧列板”，否則，多數船舶行業同胞可能摸不著頭腦。關于船側列板，在船體的外板展開圖上有清楚標示，龍骨板是 K 列，向舷外數，順序 A,B,C,D ...... ，直至與上甲板相連而稱為“舷側頂列板” 這一列。
