Overall System PerformanceThe process design generates a single LNG product stream. In addition, produced water is removed from the inlet separator and sent outside the battery limits (OSBL) for disposal. Any heavies not re-vaporized in the process are also sent OSBL for disposal. Inlet Gas HandlingThe inlet gas handling facilities receive the inlet gas and consist of a High Pressure (HP) Inlet Separator, 21- V-0107, to protect the plant from small liquid slugs and a Slop Drum, 21-V-0108. All liquids from the HP Inlet Separator are sent to the Slop Drum, which also collects liquids from various locations in the liquefaction plant. The Slop Drum is designed as a 3-phase separator to separate the water and hydrocarbo phases, with the vapor stream sent to the flare. The two produced liquid phases are manually sent OSBL for proper disposal.
