Introduction

The purpose of the  FLRSU barge is to take feed gas from the pipeline and cool it sufficiently to totally condense the gas and produce liquefied natural gas (LNG).  The plant will be located on a barge and the LNG product will be sent below deck to cargo tanks before being pumped to a liquefied  natural  gas carrier (LNGC). The plant is designed to process 79.6 MMSCFD of natural gas, producing 72 MMSCFD of LNG.  The remaining gas is used as fuel in the gas turbine driver and power generation engines.
For the first few years of operation, a Floating Storage Unit (FSU) will be used to store the LNG before it is transferred to an LNGC. The FSU will be  docked along side the LNG  barge, receiving product  from the cargo tanks. The heat leak into the FSU is much greater than the heat leak into the cargo tanks, resulting in more boil-off gas than what is required for fuel. As a result, the excess boil-off gas will be reliquefied in the refrigerant exchanger and sent to the cargo tanks with the main LNG product. The combined LNG rate of these two streams during this operation will be 72 MMSCFD. However, since a portion  of that  LNG  is coming from boil-off gas, only 73.2 MMSCFD of feed gas is required. The net LNG production after heat leak is taken into account is approximately 64 MMSCFD.

FLRSU船的用途是:从输气管中提取原料气,充分冷却原料气至完全冷凝气从而生产出液化天然气LNG。加工厂plant位于驳船barge上,LNG产品在抽送至液化天然气运输船LNGC之前,将被输送至位于甲板下面的cargo tank液(货)舱里,加工站设计处理能力为79.6MMSCFD(亿标准立方英尺)天然气,产出72MMSCFD LNG。剩下的气体将被作为燃料供给气轮机驱动gas turbine driver和发电机组power generation engines。
在运行的头一年,在LNG被抽送至LNGC之前,一艘浮式存储装置FSU(floating Storage Unit)将被用于存储LNG。这艘FSU沿靠LNG船停驻,接收从液舱里抽送来的成品。在FSU里因heat leak热漏失的量远远大于在液舱里漏失的,这就导致产生更多的boil-off gas蒸发气且超出作为燃油所需量。结果是,多余的蒸发气将在refrigerant exchanger制冷交换器里液化,然后伴随着LNG成品一起被输送至液舱。所以在这种运行中,混合着两股液流的LNG比例为72MMSCFD。然而,因为上述LNG里有部分是来自蒸发气,所以只需要73.2 MMSCFD原料气。在热漏失之后,由此得出净LNG成品计算值大约为64MMSCFD

在使用FSU的情况下,73.2MMSCFD的原料气产出64MMSCFD的天然气,
前者转化率高于后者,是这么理解吗?
