cofferdam是个什么东西？请高人能不能来个实物的图看看。
另外，最近在看一张海工船，有这么一个系统oil REC protecting from gas area，拗口的翻译是：污油回收中燃油区域的隔离，嘻嘻，让大家见笑了^O^，系统的图纸在手上却还是不太明白，请高人指点一下这个系统究竟是要达到一个什么功能，谢谢大家！

COFFERDAM , 隔离柜，隔离空舱； the spaces between 2 bulkheads or decks primarily designed as a safeguard against leakage of oil/gas from on compartment to another .
通常在水舱和燃油舱之间，设一个狭小的夹道。其作用是防止两种液体/ 气体相互渗透而混合。

船舶上为隔离舱；水工基建上为止水围堰
