“沪海囤117”“沪海囤118”是两艘趸船的船名而已。比如人家愿意名称“沪海美女117”“沪海美女118”也是无可厚非。
趸船:
A pontoon boat is a flattish boat that relies on floats to remain buoyant. These pontoons (also called tubes) contain much reserve buoyancy and allow designers to create massive deck plans fitted with all sorts of accommodations such as expansive lounge areas, stand-up bars, and sun pads. Better tube design has also allowed builders to put ever-increasing amounts of horsepower on the stern.[1] Pontoon boat drafts may be as shallow as eight inches, which reduces risk of running aground and underwater damage.
躉船或浮躉[註 1],是指浮在水上的平台,船身多以鐵製,船底相對扁平,不可作遠洋航行。多數被用作上下船的接駁平台、貨物轉駁或橫水渡等用途。因為通常沒有動力裝置,移動時需要拖船或其他外力協助。專門用作貨物轉駁的躉船會安裝起重吊臂,將貨物從不能靠岸的貨船中吊起,並轉駁到碼頭之上。

Barge:
A barge is a shoal-draft flat-bottomed boat,[1][2] built mainly for river and canal transport of bulk goods. Originally barges were towed by draft horses on an adjacent towpath. Barges have changed throughout time. From 1967-1983 barges were considered a flat bottom boat that was nineteen feet in length or larger. Today, barges may be self-propelled, usually with a slow-revving diesel engine and a large-diameter fixed-pitch propeller. Otherwise, "dumb barges" must be towed by tugs, or pushed by pusher boats. Compared to a towed barge, a pusher system has improved handling and is more efficient, as the pushing tug becomes "part of the unit" and it contributes to the momentum of the whole.
驳船:
驳船因其船型小、载重吨位小、平底,主要用于内河浅狭航道的货物运输。属于航咧械闹咴耸洹F渥饔檬墙∨考甘值幕跷铮幽诤勇胪凡翟说缴钏郏侔才派细上叽⒇洐欇喆冗h洋船。由于集装箱运输的普及,现在很多驳船都可以散杂货混运。
驳船是浅滩平底船,[1] [2]主要用于散装货物的内河和运河运输。最初,驳船是由一匹马在相邻的拖行道上拖曳的。驳船一直在变化。从1967年至1983年,驳船被认为是长度等于或大于19英尺的平底船。如今,驳船可能是自推进式的,通常使用慢速旋转的柴油发动机和大直径的固定螺距螺旋桨。否则,“笨拙的驳船”必须由拖船拖曳,或由推船推动。与拖船相比,推船系统具有更好的操控性和效率,因为拖船已成为“单元的一部分”,并为整个动力做出了贡献。

4月9日和10日上午,由上海江南造船厂有限公司承建上海海事局40米趸船其中的两艘船“沪海囤118”和“沪海囤117”分别顺利下水。
船东方上海海事局基建装备处副处长葛晓轩、杨浦海事局副局长瞿春、闵行海事局副局长李杰,监理方上海双希海事发展有限公司副总经理奚金,以及驻场船东和监理出席下水仪式。
4月8日,“沪海囤118”在各部门的配合下陆续完成各项下水准备工作。
4月9日上午完成所有下水前要报验检查的项目,包括,海底格栅、船底塞、海底阀的关闭检验,船底油漆完整度等技术检查项以及下水前的安全检查和审批。上午10点,新船顺利下水。
