Position : Sourcing Manager
Report to: Senior Procurement Manager (General Procurement)
Location: Beijing
Job Description:
· Form, lead and facilitate cross-functional teams as applicable to both develop Category Strategies and to execute the Category Strategy Projects, and align strategies with the business units with the focus on customer satisfaction, cost reduction, compliance and providing real value to the business.
· Participate in the development of procedures to benchmark procurement performance and its continuous improvement.
· Provide analysis reports and develop action plan to management. Conduct profound market research on a local basis.
· Provide full documentation regarding regulatory or legal compliance information to the relevant local departments.
· Proactively work with business partners to identify the saving projects pipeline and drive the sourcing/saving initiatives.
· Validate vendors and products and improve supplier management especially in the Agency Category.
· Proactively drive and promote the usage of procurement tools where necessary / applicable (e.g. SAP, ProART, PROSE, Synertrade, SRM etc).
· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and is responsible for optimum use of staff, resources and technical capabilities within defined area
Requirement:
· Education background: Bachelor’s degree; preferably majored in marketing, economics, international trade.
· Experience: At least 3 years sourcing experience for “Agency” category in multinational companies; Former working experience in Agency is a plus
· Knowledge & Skills: Good command of English; Negotiation skills and an ability to build strong relationships; Effective management of multiple projects – ability to effectively meet deadlines; Supplier relationship management; Business understanding; Good ability of decision making and problem solving;
· Leadership abilities, with a strong motivating attitude.
