| Structural Engineers - Floating Offshore Structures
Due to an increasing demand for our services we want to supplement our team of structural engineers with new colleagues, both experienced engineers and newly graduated or candidates that will graduate in the near future.
Floating Offshore Structures is the main unit in DNV for structural design approval of mobile offshore units
(MOUs), typically;
- ship-shaped units (production, storage and offloading, well intervention and drilling)
- semi-submersibles
- jack-ups
The section is also resp***ible for structural approval of self-elevating wind turbine installation units.
The above activities are mainly related to newbuildings but also cover conversi*** and modificati*** of existing units.
In our unit you will get the opportunity to work with challenging projects from the world’s leading designers of MOU’s, and have an impact on the safety evaluation of existing and tomorrow’s MOUs.

- BSc., MSc. or PhD. degree within naval architecture or structural engineering
- Experience within offshore hull structures
- Experience within Finite Element Modelling and analysis
- Experience within hydrodynamic analysis is an advantage
- Good command of oral and written English
