报道称， NYK Global Bulk Corp. (NYKGB), the Handy bulker unit of Nippon Yusen Kaisha, has recently ordered two Handymax bulker newbuildings from a Chinese shipyard for delivery in 2012. Although the Chinese yard NYKGB selected as the builder is yet to be identified, it is believed to be a Japanese-affiliated shipyard. NYKGB has operated Chinese-built vessels on a charter basis in the past, but this is the first time for it to place a newbuilding order with an overseas yard.
