The available position as Structure Engineer & Supervisor, will in general involve drawing review and supervision ofLNG cargo tank manufacturing. TASKS
· Site supervision for LNG stainless steel cargo tankconstruction
· Structure drawing review and“as built” control
· QA and QC, includingparticipation in testing
· Technical support to Yard (tankbuilder)
· Daily coordination betweenYard/Designers/Class
· Status and progress reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
· Education within navalarchitecture, structure design and strength considerations
· On site experience from shiphull construction at Yard, Class, Designer and/or Owner
· Experience with stainless steelwelding, welding procedure qualifications, WPS, NDT and production weld testing;
· With LNG/LPG stainless steel cargo tank or Chemical tanker experience will be preferred;
· Experience within structure QAand QC at least 5 years;
· Experience with “as built”control of structure drawings
· Experience with communicationwith Yards, Class and Designers
· Proficiency in English andChinese, both verbal and written
· Computer proficiencies: MicrosoftOffice software, AutoCAD
