Aqualis Offshore is a specialized offshore, marine and engineering consultancy, focusing on the shallow and deep-water offshore segments of the Oil & Gas Industry and the offshore renewables market worldwide.
Our multi-disciplinary engineering and marine teams are recognized in the industry for their competence and experience. We work closely with clients to understand their requirements, identify solutions and execute their projects and marine operations in a timely, cost effective and safe manner.
Aqualis Offshore specialize in the following marine and engineering services: Concept, FEED and basic design for new-build and vessel upgrades
Deep and shallow water installation engineering and related marine operations
Marine operations and surveying, including rig moving and tow master services together with support engineering services
Vessel construction supervision and owner representation
Engineering and project management support to the renewable industry
Third party approvals on behalf of owners and underwriters such as marine warranty and audits of dynamic positioning systems

Work within a team of engineers and be responsible for the planning, verifying and execution of projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Assist with preparation of proposals for bids and tender inputs.
• Supervise/prepare as required and assist with engineering design, calculations and analysis for designs of various naval architectural elements pertaining to the project in accordance with international codes and standards.
• Assist and/or lead projects (as assigned by the manager) to accomplish the overall delivery of optimum solutions to customers within the timeframe, costs and quality standards established by Aqualis Offshore and/or the Client
• Attend regular internal meetings and external / third party meetings as required.
• Maintain responsibility for engineering integrity, prepare working forecasts, identifying change management plans, and corrective action as well as real time schedules.
• Participate in engineering-related reviews and audits. Evaluate and prepare concept selection reports and basis for design
• Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
Education and Professional Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering; Naval Architecture; Marine Engineering or equivalent Diploma;
· At least 4 years professional experience in similar or related businesses (such as ship design office; shipyard; classification society). Expertise in structure design, strength assessment, or naval architecture, familiar with FEM analysis.
· In depth knowledge of industry standards and codes and the ability to apply standards to structural analysis & designs
· Knowledge of Offshore/Naval Architectural analysis and design computer programs
