Our client provides complete, tailor-made non-welded piping systems, prefabricated piping modules and piping components to its customers. The solutions are well known for their design/engineering capability, advanced technical solutions and high quality.

1. Information about the assignment

Position: Project Engineer

Report to: Project Manager

Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:

· Support sales team for bidding project risk review and contract review.

· To be a person leading project team from appointment to project completion.

· Close communication with customer and internal departments to keep project forwarding

· smooth as the only interface for both commercial and technical.

· Regular project report and forecast of financial results, quality statistics input.

· Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources, and initiate corrective

· action where necessary.

· Ensure conformance to company’s strategy and quality standards

· Responsible for project administration.

· Establish and maintain all project related files and prepare project reports to Operation Manager including timesheet, labor sheet, materials sheet, cost follow-up etc.

· Keep good relationships with customers and manage customer expectation successfully.

· Support to sales and services management in review of opportunities, creating solution proposals and project documentation, project plan and estimates.

· Work with Finance Dept. to analyze, record and control the costs for each ongoing

· project and review after projects with all parties for cost reduction.

· Other duties instructed from time to time by the direct supervisor of the Employee.

Professional experience:

· At least 3 years working experience from the international projects

· Preferable Marin / Offshore background

· Willingness to take travelling

· Good team work skills

· Good knowledge of Auto CAD

· Knowledge of Microsoft project management system

· Microsoft office knowledge

2. Desired profile of the candidate

Education:

Bachelor degree or above major in marine or offshore related subjects is preferred

Language:

Good oral and written skills in Chinese and English.
