Business Improvement – Marine Operations, China Report to
Functionally report to Regional Business Improvement Manager, Asia (RBIM) Administratively report to Operations VP, China Daily activity management, performance reviews (PDRs), vacation, travel agreements and expenses, are all to be managed and agreed with the functional manager (RBIM). After agreement, sign-off for budgetary reasons is to be sort with the Operations VP - China. Subordinates
N/A Job Purpose To deliver agreed significant benefits to the business through the leadership, on a full-time basis, of complex process improvement projects sponsored by the business leadership team. Ensure senior management adopt the Process Improvement philosophy and embed the structure and governance needed for sustainable improvement. Assist and coach personnel in support of developing a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Key Accountabilities (but not limited) Ÿ
Work with business leaders to identify and quantify opportunities for process improvement Ÿ
Lead improvement projects to deliver and maintain process improvement through the DMAIC process Ÿ
Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to deliver process improvement across the business Ÿ
Coach and mentor Green Belts and managers on process improvement activities and methodologies Ÿ
