Asst/Principal Naval Architect (EDC - Hull) - $2600
Job Functions:
 Preparation of technical specification.
 Preparation of General Arrangement Plan (GAP)
 Preparation of Major Equipment List.
 Interact and negotiate with customer on technical matters
 Development of new designs and design concepts.
 Participate in tests and trials, where required.
 Check and approve detail design calculation, where necessary.
 Planning and scheduling of work for the project.
 Check and approve arrangement and production drawings and material list
 Keep abreast with current technological developments and products.
Job Requirements:
 Recognized Naval Architect degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in design house/ design office in shipyards and/or classification societies. A combination of the above mentioned experiences will be an added advantage.
 Expect to have engineering project management skills.
 Only Singaporeans and SPR need apply.

 Location: Benoi (Island-wide transport provided).
 5 days work week.

Senior Engineer (EDC - Hull) - $3500
Job Functions:
 Assist in the preparation of technical specification.
 Assist in the preparation of General Arrangement Plan (GAP)
 Assist in the preparation of Major Equipment List.
 Interact and negotiate with customer on technical matters
 Assist in the development of new designs and design concepts.
 Design ship structures and equipment foundations.
 Perform detailed structure design calculation.
 Assist in the planning and scheduling of work for his area of specialisation.
 Participate in on-site surveys
 Produce arrangement and production drawings and material list
 Keep abreast with current technological developments and products.
Job Requirements:
 Recognized Naval Architect or Structural degree with minimum 3 years of relevant structural design experience in design house/design office in shipyards and/or classification societies. A combination of the above mentioned experiences will be an added advantage.
 Expect to have engineering project management skills.
 Experienced in detailed structural analysis including 3 dimensional FEA and vibration analysis.
 Only Singaporeans and SPR need apply.

Engineer (EDC - Hull Outfitting & Accommodation systems) - $2600
Job Functions:
 Prepare arrangement & detail drawings for the hull outfitting and accommodation e.g general arrangement, accommodation layouts, structure fire protection plan, insulation schemes, safety plan, anchoring/mooring arrangement.
 Prepare detailed compartment layouts, space coordination and integration with other disciplines.
 Prepare technical specification and perform technical evaluation of equipment e.g deck cranes, winches, anchoring, mooring equipment, door/window/hatches etc.
 Prepare documentation for drawing list, material list, production information, weight control, material management, delivery documents etc.
 Provide onsite support to production for design issues.
 Support new business/market development work.
 Lead and manage all the hull outfitting drawing and procurement (project based).
Requirements:
 Recognized degree in Shipbuilding/Naval Architecture/Marine Technology/Marine/Mechanical Engineering.
 Preferably those with hull, outfitting and ship design experience from the marine or related industry.
 Must be proficient in CAD.
 Only Singaporeans and SPR need apply.
