The following is aBasic Requirements for the accommodation barge, you can contact me for moredetails:
1.The Barge shall befully classed by an internationally recognizedclassificationsociety;
2.The working deckloadcapacity shall be designed for 300 tonnesand suitable for a uniform load of 5 t/m2;
3.Storage Capabilities: The Bargeshall be capable of carrying Deadweight of 1000 tonnes consisting ofthefollowing minimum quantities and/or capacities otable Water: 350 m³; FuelOil: 300 m³; Miscellaneous (including shipstores, crew and effects, hand guns/ammunition, etc): 50 tonnes; Deck Cargo:300 tonnes;
4.Area of Operation:The Barge is to be capable ofoperating and remaining in station withoutrestriction in water depths rangingbetween 10meters and 70 m, in the Arabian Gulf. 5.The barge is to befitted with a helicopter landing pad to suit thetake-off and landing of “Super Puma AS332 L2” Helicopters.
6. Asminimum, the Barge is to be equipped with a four-pointmooring system completewith anchors and cables or wires suitable for 10to 70 meters water depth. Forthe permanent mooring, the Barge shall be mooredwith a single point mooringconfiguration(Free Swinging) to assume the most advantageous position undercombined actionof wind and current.
7.CRANE REQUIREMENTS:One (1) fixed“Offshore” Marine crane minimum shall be fitted in the working deck. The craneshall be capable of continuous slewing and unrestrictedoperation up to windspeed of 10.3 m/s (20 knots) with a static heavy liftcapability of at least 11tonnes at an outreach of 10 m (beyond the edge of theBarge closest to the cranecenter). If the crane does not reach both sides (Port & Stbd) of theBargewhile achieving the required lifting capability, then another crane isrequiredto allow for the lifting ability at both port and stbd sides of the Barge.
8.The Barge is to havea minimum accommodation sufficient to accommodate80 personnel in one-berth ortwo-berth cabins.
9.Ambient Conditions: All machinery and equipment are to be capable ofcontinuous operationat its designated maximum continuous rating under thefollowing ambientconditions:SeaTemperature min 10°C
SeaTemperature max 36° C
AirTemperature min 8° C
Air Temperature max 45° C @ 100% R. H and
54° C @ 45% R. H
10.Operational Working Conditions

11.Stationing Condition: The Barge shall have reasonableeccentricity allowancein survival and operational conditions. The Barge shall be capable to withstandthestorm survival condition expected for the specified area of operation.TheBarge shall as required by Classification Society be suitable for thestormsurvival conditions. |
